Research aim: The project aims to develop an international screening tool for mental health symptoms and psychosocial problems among trauma-affected refugees.
Design: This is a multi-phase study that includes a review of existing measurement tools, focus groups with refugees, and the development, pilot-testing, and translation of a new screening tool.
Population: 300 trauma-affected refugees
Methods: The study will review current tools, collect qualitative data through focus groups, and create a new measurement tool. The tool will be piloted in Australia and Denmark and refined through psychometric analysis and translation into relevant languages.
