CULTMIND (Centre of Excellence Culture and the Mind) 

In 2023, CTP in collaboration with the Faculty of Humanities has been granted a 6-year funding from the Danish National Research Foundation to establish the Centre of Excellence Culture and the Mind. This center is un​ique in its composition, bringing together researchers from different disciplines, aiming to contribute withnew knowledge on how culture and the mind interact. The research group includes historians, linguists, anthropologists from the University of Copenhagen, as well as medical doctors, psychologists, and MScs in Public Health with research experiencein psychiatry.


TREAT (Trauma Research and Treatment)

TREAT is a research collaboration between CTP and the Psychotherapeu​tic Unit (PU) at Mental Health Centre Ballerup. CTP and PU are jointly initiating research projectsthat integrate both clinics, aiming to enhance psychiatric treatment for two groupsof trauma-affected patients.


MindSpring and Danish Refugee Council (DRC)

CTP and DRC have collaborated since 2016 on evaluating the group programme MindSpring. MindSpring is a psychosocial group programme for refugees about topics related to life in exile. MindSpring aims to create awareness andempowerment and hereby prevent the development of psychological and social problems.​
