​We are very proud to announce that Jessica Carlsson Lohmann from CTP, has won the prestigious 2023 International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS) Sarah Haley Memorial Award for Clinical Excellence.
 
The award is given to a clinician or group of clinicians in direct service to trauma-affected individuals. The award acknowledges Jessica’s high standards of clinical care, dissemination of clinical excellence through training and research activities through several years and her role of advocacy for survivors of traumatic stress. 
 
“I am extremely honored to have been appointed this very special ISTSS award. Sarah Haley was a true pioneer in the trauma field. One of my main interests through my career as a clinician and researcher is how to integrate research in daily clinical routines engaging as many clinicians as possible and answering research questions closely linked to clinical work and to continuously improve the services offered. Therefore, this award of clinical excellence is very special to me,” Jessica says.
 
The award will be presented at the ISTSS Annual Meeting in November in Los Angeles, USA.
