The project is a collaboration between the Unit for the Treatment of Self-Harm (BAS) and the research units CARMEN and CNDR at Psychiatric Center Glostrup.
The BAS unit was established in 2023, drawing inspiration from similar treatment programs in Germany. Our current research is driven by the desire to improve our understanding of the treatment's impact on both mental and physical health.
The overall objective is to conduct a thorough evaluation of the treatment to improving treatment options. A particular area of interest concerns the relationship between the treatment and physical well-being.
This will be done, among other things, by collecting data from various questionnaires completed by participating patients and by obtaining medical record information with the patients' consent. This data will be collected over a period of approximately 10 years to create a database large enough to evaluate the treatment program and facilitate further research in the field.
