Mortality after treatment of depression in cancer survivors

​T​​he project will examine the prevalence of depression following a cancer diagnosis, as well as how mortality is affected by concurrent depression.​

A collaboration with the Danish Cancer Society​ (Kræftens bekæmpelse), which aims to shed light on the occurrence of depression after a cancer diagnosis has been made, as well as how mortality is affected by simultaneous depression. Also to investigate whether certain types of cancer treatment are associated with later depression. The project is i.a. funded by the Norwegian Cancer Society.
