The PhD project: "Neurobiological effects of work-related adjustment disorder" which involves the use of a combined PET/MR scanner at Odense University Hospital is expected to begin the recruitment of patients from the Occupational Medicine Clinic, OUH, in the spring of 2019.
Purpose: To study the phenomenon of anhedonia neurobiological, since this symptom is central to a number of psychiatric diseases.
Method: Using PET scanning with among other things racloprid, FDG and FLB, we will examine the brain's reward system function in humans affected by severe work-related stress.
