The Psychiatric Research Unit is a Danish Clinimetrics Centre for Mental Health. It is a unit under the Mental Health Centre North Zealand in Hillerød, Denmark. ​

Head of the unit: Per Bech​, Professor in Psychometrics at the University of Copenhagen. Per Bech has been active in research since 1978 and has mainly published studies in the field of rating scales and questionnaires, depression and stress, and psychopharmacology of depression.​

The unit was established in 1992 and acted as a WHO Mental Health Collaborating Centre from 1995 to 2003.​
